She or he should be well-rounded, strong leadership/speaking skills, organized, team player, flexible, versatile, sensitive to others and able to accept constructive criticism.

Bears Summer School Hockey

Bears Summer School Hockey runs July 4-28 from 7:00 am until noon at Pete Palangio Arena and SJSH. Participant's will receive a high school credit in Physical Education. The course includes 30 hours of ice time and 75 hours of weight training, dry land and games. Registration packages can be picked up at the attendance office at SJSH or at the office of NPSC elementary schools. Open to students currently in grades 8-10. Sweep at Provincial Shoot by Bears Archery

The St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Bears archery team traveled to the Ontario High School Archery Invitational Tournament in Richmond Hill Wednesday, May 18 to participate in a provincial competition. This year SJSH fielded teams in all four compound bow classes; boys limited and unlimited as well as girls limited and unlimited shooting.

For only the second time in the history OHSAIT shoot, the first being last year and also by SJSH, all four compound categories were swept by one school, St. Joseph Scollard Hall!  The gold medal winning teams were comprised of 19 archers of which 3 were brand new to the sport!

Advanced Placement French Language and Culture exam

S.J.S.H. Captures Senior Boys Soccer Tournament Title

The St. Joseph – Scollard Hall Senior Boys Soccer Team won the Nipissing Invitational Soccer Tournament this past week by defeating St. Mary’s College from Sault Ste. Marie.  The final game was a spectacular showcase of talent that eventually ended in a sudden death penalty shootout.
