EQAO Decision on Scoring and Reporting of Online OSSLT
After a review of these factors, EQAO has determined that it will be able to score and report for the following groups of students:
students for whom we received complete responses for both Sessions 1 and 2 (i.e., Booklets 1 and 2) and
students for whom we received a number of responses and a mix of different question types (i.e., multiple-choice, reading, short writing and long writing) from both Sessions 1 and 2 substantial enough to allow for a result.

SJSH Fall Food Drive
SJSH students will be canvassing food for the North Bay Food Bank, this coming Saturday, November 12th, from 9:30am until noon.
Neighbours are asked to place their food donation in their blue box at the foot of their driveway, or in a clearly-marked bag on or near their doorstep. The Bears thank you in advance for your assistance and your generous donations to the Food Bank!
The area of the city that SJSH will be canvassing includes the portion of Ferris between Judge Ave and the water treatment facility; the downtown core from the overpass to High St, and from Oak St to the bypass; and the section along Trout Lake Road from the bypass to Connaught (including Kingsway, Alexander, Laurentian, and McKay).

Aboriginal Student Self-Identification
The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board has developed a policy which permits the voluntary self-identification of Aboriginal students. The Voluntary and Confidential Aboriginal Student Self-Identification Policy was revised during the 2015-2016 school year in consultation with our First Nation Advisory Committee.
We are requesting that all parents/guardians review the information in the attached link outlining the purpose of the policy, and complete and return to the school the voluntary and confidential aboriginal self-identification section below. Please note, if you have previously chosen to self-identify your child(ren) through this process or through the school registration process, it is not necessary to complete this form again.
