Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
Without a doubt, this has been one of the most unique school years in St. Joseph-Scollard Hall history. As we reflect on the many ways life and learning has changed over the past months, we appreciate the many great accomplishments of our students.
Our graduating class in particular has risen to the challenges presented to them, demonstrating tremendous resilience, dedication to their studies, and genuine care for the well-being of each other. With this in mind, we want to celebrate them in a way that truly marks the uniqueness of their final year of study at SJSH.
SJSH staff feel strongly that we would like to recognize graduating students this June. We will be hosting a virtual graduation for students and their families to attend online. Broadcasts will invite families to watch along as we facilitate a formal commencement ceremony, complete with speeches, awards, slideshows, and more.
Graduating students have also been asked to complete a survey to provide their input. We look forward to receiving feedback on some additional ideas we have been exploring to recognize important milestone, and to receiving student suggestions as well.
The date and time of the virtual graduation ceremony will be communicated in the near future, along with details about how to access the broadcast. Details regarding any additional events or celebrations will also be communicated.
We want to take this time to thank our students and their families for their continued support during this school year. We are truly blessed to be part of such a committed, generous, and understanding school community.
We recognize this is not the graduation any of our students or families had planned, but we hope to mark the occasion in a way that is special and meaningful for our students. This will surely be a graduation no one will forget.
Thank you again for your community spirit and support during the past weeks. We look forward to staying in touch with you all and recognizing this important milestone together.
