On April 12, 2021, the Premier of Ontario announced that Ontario elementary and secondary schools will be closed for in-person learning and that instruction will take place virtually following the spring break. The Ontario government has announced its decision to move elementary and secondary schools to remote learning following the April 12-16 spring break. All publicly funded elementary and secondary schools in the province will be moving to teacher-led remote learning when students return from the April break on April 19. COVID-19 rapid antigen testing is now available at select Shoppers Drug Mart and Loblaw Pharmacy locations for students, children, and staff of the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board. Testing is voluntary and participants will need to be asymptomatic in-order to be eligible to receive a COVID-19 rapid antigen test. "Read more" for important details.
