Crime and the Foundational Harms of Smart Device Use
Today’s youth are
growing up with constant access to an expansive virtual world. Join us to learn
how early smart device use can expose children to real online risks, including
exploitation and harmful digital behaviours.
CSAC (Parent Council) hosts Detective Constable Carleton with the
North Bay Police Service, Internet Child Exploitation Unit who will be
presenting on current trends in online crimes related to the exploitation of
children and the social risks of the early use of Smart devices.
The event is happening on
February 19th from 6PM to 8PM in the Learning Commons at SJSH and all parents
and guardians are invited to attend.
