The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board has developed a policy which permits the voluntary self-identification of Aboriginal students. The Voluntary and Confidential Aboriginal Student Self-Identification Policy was revised during the 2015-2016 school year in consultation with our First Nation Advisory Committee.
We are requesting that all parents/guardians review the information in the attached link outlining the purpose of the policy, and complete and return to the school the voluntary and confidential aboriginal self-identification section below. Please note, if you have previously chosen to self-identify your child(ren) through this process or through the school registration process, it is not necessary to complete this form again.
