A group of students had the opportunity to attend a day of science and fun at Widdifield. They were participants in the 2nd Annual Paper Airplane Convention & Competition. Participants had the choice of three workshops geared towards aviation: The Science of Paper Airplane Flight, The History of Aviation in North Bay and The World of RC Flight. There was then an opportunity to take part in a Special Olympics fundraiser, tossing paper airplanes of their own design to win prizes. Finally, the day consisted of a team based competition for average flight length. Looking forward to next year and improving the overall score!
