All of the students and staff at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall have been invited to see a presentation at the Capitol Centre on Thursday, March 9th at 1:00pm. This presentation is known as the Robb Nash Project and is being promoted by the Canadian Mental Health Association.

The webpage for the project describes itself this way:

"We're not trying to change the world, we're trying to create world changers. We live in a world where more and more people are suffering from depression and addiction. Suicide is becoming an all-too common occurrence and affecting younger and younger ages. But we believe there is hope as the subject of mental health becomes talked about more and more. We are strongly passionate about using our music to continue these ever-important conversations."

Students and teachers will board buses going from the school to the Capitol Centre at 12:40pm. The expected return time to the school is 2:30pm.

Students will be expected to follow school codes of conduct while participating in the presentation. If a student is absent from the presentation then regular procedures for an absence must be followed.

Please note that there is no cost for this event.

Should you have any questions, please contact the school at 705-494-8600.

Thank you
