On Friday, April 7, many of our staff participated in a wonderful activity organized by Ms. Lamothe to support the Gathering Place. Staff either helped to cook or covered classes for those who were. Many members donated the food that was prepared. Staff were invited to wear green and gold for the day. We are very fortunate to be a part of this big family and it’s activities like this one that remind us of this. Dennis Chippa (Executive Director of the Gathering Place), visited the grade 12 Social Justice class in the morning to discuss the needs of our community and the power of volunteerism.
