Mental Health Check-Ins Now Available
If you feel overwhelmed or unable to cope as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic or if you are concerned that your child may need professional help during this time, our Mental Health team at Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board is offering Mental Health Check-Ins for parents and students via email. Emails will be monitored by mental health professionals between 8:30am and 3:30pm, Monday-Friday and are not designed to respond as a 24 hour crisis or emergency service. Learn at Home
On Friday, March 20, 2020 the Ministry of Education launched the first phase of a new online portal called Learn at Home that will provide resources for families so students can continue their education while schools are closed due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. Update on EQAO Assessments
Please be advised the Ontario Ministry of Education has announced that all EQAO assessments will be canceled for the remainder of this school year. We appreciate the work done to prepare for these assessments by EQAO and school board staff. The literacy graduation requirement (OSSLT) for students who are graduating in the 2019-20 school year has been waived.

Important Public Health Information: NPSC Schools Closed March 14 to April 5, 2020
We have been made aware the Premier’s Office has announced it will close all publicly funded schools in Ontario for two weeks following March Break, in response to the emergence in Ontario of COVID-19. As a result, all schools in the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board will be closed from March 14 to April 5, 2020. Please visit npsc.ca for details.

A note to all SJSH students; if you or someone you know has SJSH uniform pieces that are no longer being used, please consider donating them back to SJSH. Pick Up - Drop Off Location
Dear Parents/Guardians, Please see the attached drawing for the new pick up and drop off location for all students attending St. Joseph-Scollard Hall. Please note that the new pick up and drop off location will be the parking lot off of High street in front of the Scollard Hall building. We are asking all parents/guardians to wait in the designated zones when picking up or dropping off your child. Please do not wait in the main parking lot off of O’Brien street.
